Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: May 18, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Snappy Bin Operations LLC will issue refunds or credits for dumpster rental services.
Cancellation Timeframes
Full Refund (Homeowner Rentals)
Homeowners may cancel their rental and receive a full refund if the cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
Cancellations within 48 hours of delivery: No refund will be issued, but we will offer a future credit (valid for 30 days) equal to the rental price.
Contractor Accounts
Contractor accounts operate on a different structure. Monthly invoices are based on estimated usage. Charges are final once services are delivered. Cancellations of future scheduled deliveries more than 5 business days in advance may be adjusted on the next invoice.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable:
- Delivery and pickup fees (if services have been initiated)
- Weight overages
- Prohibited material disposal fees
- Damage to property caused by customer (see Liability section below)
- Premium location surcharges
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Credit Card Payments: Refund will be credited to the original card within 5-10 business days
- ACH/Bank Transfer: Refund will be processed within 5-10 business days
Damaged Property or Dumpster
If damage to your property (driveway, lawn, or other surfaces) occurs during delivery, placement, or pickup:
- You must report the damage in writing within 48 hours of discovery
- Documentation (photos, written description) must be provided
- We will investigate and determine liability based on our Liability Terms (see Terms & Conditions)
- Claims must be reported to info@snappybin.com or 435-214-1348 within 48 hours
Prohibited Materials Disposal
If a dumpster is returned with prohibited materials inside (hazardous materials, tires, mattresses, etc.), we will:
- Charge a remediation fee for removal and proper disposal
- Not issue a refund for the rental
- Bill the customer for all associated disposal and administrative costs
A current list of prohibited materials is provided at the time of booking.
Delivery and Pickup Issues
Service Cannot Be Completed
If we cannot deliver or pick up the dumpster due to access issues, unsafe conditions, or customer unavailability after two (2) scheduled attempts, we will credit 50% of the rental fee. A rescheduled delivery may incur additional fees.
Schedule Changes
Customers may request to change delivery or pickup dates with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Changes requested within 48 hours may incur a rescheduling fee of $25-$50.
Service Guarantee
If we fail to deliver or pick up your dumpster on the scheduled date without valid reason (weather, access, safety), we will:
- Provide a full credit of the rental fee toward a future rental, or
- Issue a refund if you choose not to reschedule

Include your rental confirmation number, requested refund reason, and any supporting documentation.
Liability
As stated in our Terms & Conditions, the customer is responsible for property surfaces where the dumpster is placed. Snappy Bin is not liable for damage to driveways, lawns, or surfaces unless caused by our gross negligence.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
